Welcome!

As a mental health professional, you’re passionate about helping people. Each day, you work hard with your clients to unravel how they operate and shepherd them toward self-discovery and recovery.

There are so many people out there who need solution-based guidance. You know you could give them the direction and treatment they need, if only they could find you.

Your job is incredibly demanding - certainly not for the faint of heart! You love it, but caring for people who are going through the wringer all day can be exhausting.

Tack on the pressure to keep your business growing, and the threat of burnout can be huge.

What is copy?

“Copy” is a form of persuasive, easy-to-read writing used for business.

The aim of copy is to inform potential clients or customers about a service or product that could benefit them, and help them decide to invest in said service or product if it’s something that can truly make their lives better.

Effective copy typically includes SEO (Search Engine Optimization), which makes websites, blogs, articles, etc. more visible and accessible.

Why you need an expert marketing strategy.

There’s a clear problem in the mental health community.

People who are struggling with their mental health aren’t finding the right providers for them on the first try. Mental health providers aren’t seeing the people who fit into their specialties. This leads to a lot of wasted time and money.

I fully believe that a solid, adaptable marketing strategy can eliminate these problems by putting the best providers at the top of Google search listings - helping prospective clients find the help they need right away.

Meaning YOU will only see the people you’re most qualified to treat.

Services

I offer blogs, newsletters, email sequences, landing pages, white papers, case studies, product descriptions, and e-books.

Not only does effective copy increase outreach to your ideal clients, it also establishes your authority in the industry. When people are exposed to you, your philosophies, and your expertise, they’re more likely to reach out and ask for your services.

This type of content is necessary for attracting your ideal clients and growing your business, but it’s also time consuming.

You don’t have to worry about spending your precious time and energy focusing on the administrative stuff. My goal is to help you by taking the tedious, nitty-gritty stuff off your plate.

I use my state-of-the-art training and expertise to go the extra mile by:

  • Researching practices, philosophies, products, and services in the mental health field to produce accurate, informative content.

  • Using up-to-date knowledge of the market to keep your content relevant.

  • Formatting copy properly to ensure the ease of your audience’s consumption and Google Analytics.

  • Putting you front and center on Google with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) so you’re easy to find.

  • Utilizing third-party proofreading and editing so all content is typo-free and professional.

I take the stress and hassle out of these tasks by doing them for you. So you don’t have to!

You and I are a creative team. I make suggestions for your business based on my knowledge and expertise so you’ll thrive.

I take the time to produce high-quality work that helps you gain both time and clients.

I hit my deadlines because consistency in your content production is key to achieving visibility and maintaining authority.

So what are these different types of copy?

White Papers

A white paper is a detailed report that educates your audience about a specific issue - often a complicated one. It will often include professional language, research, statistics, and your stance or philosophy on the subject. It can help your potential clients make informed decisions about you and your practice, garnering interest from the people you’re most likely to be able to help.

Website Copy

This is exactly what you’re thinking! Website copy is the culmination of all the words that make up your website, from the intro banner to the contact form. Your website’s copy is important because it shows your clients a combination of your professionalism and your personality. It provides them with the information they need to know about you and your practice while simultaneously guiding them to take action.

Product Descriptions

This is what goes under the listing for a product you’re selling, if you sell any. For example, if you had an e-book available for purchase, the product description would be a brief explanation for what the book was about and what the purchaser might learn from reading it. Having a compelling product description is key to making sales!

Landing Pages

A landing page is the web page your clients are taken to when they show interest in your practice by clicking on a link. It’s the final opportunity to tell them about what you can offer and help them decide if you’re the best choice for them. Safe to say it’s some of the more important copy in client generation!

Blogs

A blog is a 1,500 - 2,000 word piece of copy that can be used to inform, relate, and muse. Blogs increase engagement with prospective clients, demonstrate your knowledge, and give leads some insight into how you think and communicate. Posting regular blogs can also let your clients know that you’re passionate about your work and can consistently show up for them.

Email Sequences

An email sequence is a series of emails that build on each other. The first might introduce the people on your email list to a new concept or service. The second might educate them on the benefits of the new thing. The third could delve into your credentials and why they need the service. This is just an example - the actual content and order of the emails is extremely variable!

E-Books

An e-book is a longer form of copy, typically used to educate readers on particular topics. Like any book, it often has different chapters and sections. They can be as short as 10 pages, or as long as a novel, depending on the subject and goal of the book.

Newsletters

A newsletter is an email that’s sent periodically to people who’ve subscribed to your email list. It can include updates about your practice, tips your clients can use, and general information you want people to know. Newsletters are a good way to keep in touch with your audience, build consistency, and prove your authority.

Case Studies

A case study is a deep dive into a client or customer’s success story. They’re based on real people’s actual experiences, so it’s an honest way to give prospective clients insight into what they could gain from your services or products. Imagine a review, but longer and more detailed.

*I want to stress that I do NOT try to persuade your audience to invest in something they don’t actually need or want. My ultimate goal is to help people - not convince them to use their precious time and money on something that will go to waste in the end.*

About

Hey there! I’m Hannah, a mental health copywriter and advocate.

I began this journey after a group of mental health professionals saved my life. I decided to study psychology and enlist my passion and skills for writing to help people find the services they need.

I don’t just want to write about my experiences in the hopes that they’ll help some random person out there.

I want to help people who are really struggling with their mental health easily find the trained professionals and doctors who can actually treat them in a significant way.

I want to direct people to tangible results, because they already have enough on their minds without the stress of scouring the internet and combing through page after page of confusing lingo, just to find anyone that could help.

That’s where I come in.

I believe that finding essential resources should be quick and easy.

That’s why I’m committed to improving your visibility. So the people you can help will actually find you.

Together, we can help people take control of their mental health.

What sets me apart from other copywriters?

  • I help you infuse your voice into your website, blogs, and emails.

  • I’m very thorough in my research, and get to know a topic inside and out before I put pen to paper.

  • I translate complicated medical language into layman’s terms. No gatekeeping!

  • I keep your primary goals in mind.

Bottom line - I help you gain clients through an exhaustive marketing strategy.
